I sure hope that Burg does better than a #7 seed I guess it all depends on if we can Beat Waverly at Waverly and Oak Hill at home Tuesday I think the Burg is playing better now than they have all season. Did not play well in the loss to Waverly then played the exact same way against Ironton. Didnt defend as a team very well. Hopefully they put that behind them. We will find out Tuesday! Go Burg

If the one Athens team gets the Columbus team 1st game of regionals, they’re probably in trouble. Good luck though, hopefully you win that.

If Oak Hill wins both games this week against Wheelersburg and Waverly this week… do we at least start discussing them as the 1-3 seed?
Would be 17-2 with the only losses to Burg at home in a close game and to a very good Wooster Triway team up north.
Granted, they still have to win the 2 games this week to even be discussed… but what seed are they looking at if they win both?

Fairland and Zane Trace will get those 2 spots
but win these next 2 should get a shot at the 3
It should be really interesting to see how all this plays out considering this is something new and long overdue for the SE district.
I think that the coaches will eventually pick their own paths, but for now, I’m extremely thankful that the district is finally evolving.
I just really hope that this all goes well

My understanding is in DIvision III and IV the team that gets the 1 Seed will get to choose whether they become the Athens 1 or Athens 2 District. This will effect who they could end up paired up with in the Regionals. The Bracket will remain the same as above except the 1 seed will get to pick if they want to be the Athens 1 or Athens 2. Since there is only 1 winner in Division II then there is no choice.

Waverly 2-2 this week including a BIG win at Oak Hill. Should they knock of Jackson tonight, AT Jackson, the Tigers ought to be moving up and up.
