The best cure for a hangover is to take two Alka Seltzer before you go to bed if you can handle the taste. When I used to go to the bars in Athens back in the 70’s and get on rip roarin’ drunks, we always did this after we got back from the bars and I never woke up with a hangover.
know your limit and that won’t happen but I never had that problem

A lot of things were easier on all of us back in the 70’s Now I can’t do much drinking because of the heartburn
and that wasn’t a problem in the 70’S. I don’t think it was the Alka Seltzer it was the fact we were 25-30 years younger.

I agree with that. Back in those days I could go out and party all night, get up after just a few hours of sleep(or sometimes no sleep at all), go to work all day and then do the same thing the next night. Ah, to be young and dumb again.

I always heard if you keep drinking you wont get a hangover.
Not many headaches however I had stomach and body aches galore. I think that Bigdin is right, the perfect cure for a hangover is to stay buzzed continously oooorrrr sober up and stay that way.
All a hangover is, is your bodies way of telling you it needs more alcohal. A hangover is a withdraw symptom so if you simply wake up grab a beer and head to the shower you will feel better in no time at all. (probably not the smartest thing to do, but it got me over a few rough nights!)
