CSI fans, what did you think of the new guy?

I personally would like Grissom and Sara back!!
The new guy is ok, I guess… but I think Grissom helped make the show.

I def think Grissom was the show but I’ll have to watch a couple more shows to see ..I like him but not sure if the show will now survive with sara, warrick and grissom gone

I like Laurence Fishbourne but I’m not sure what I think of him on CSI - have to wait and see. Wish Grissom had stayed and Kathryn had left instead.
I’d still rather watch CSI:NY though.

I think this is the begining of the end.
They have let too many of the core actors go and I do not think it will go over as well as it did with a show like NYPD BLUES or the Law and Order shows.

Grissom was the show. The rest of them together filled in the gaps very nicely. I agree, the beginning of the end. I’m staying optimistic thou. The story line from what i have read is going to stay and focus more on the serial killer type story line.

i agree, beginning of the end. i bet they bring grissom back for a couple of episodes a year, maybe dealing the miniature killer. anyone know why he left? another series? movies?

I agree that losing Warrick, Grissom, and Sara didn’t help the show any, but even after Sara left they kept bringing her back every so often and I thank they might do the same with Gil. Now Warrick is gone for good unless they do flashbacks or dream sequences. As for Laurence Fishburn, he is a hell of an actor and just may take the show to new heights. I wouldn’t give up on him or the series just yet.

Also, I can’t believe someone said they’d like to see Katherine (Marg Helgenbeger) go. She is just smokin’ hot and I’d hate to see her leave.

I used to watch it quite often but I got tired of watching David Caruso’s overacting. Just how many times can one man tilt his head to the side and take off his sunglasses in one episode? If they would bring someone else on to replace him I might start watching it again. I thought they might be at the end of last years shows when it looked like they killed him off but actually just faked it.
