The Freshman play for the championship in the Ashlan Invitational Tournament tomorrow at 6. They need a big crowd as they look to improve to 20-0 in their final game. Go Tigers!

Is this definitely at 6? I know it was posted on here on another thread that the championship game was at 7:30.
It was originally scheduled for 730. the bracket at the tourny said championship at 6 . didn’t say anything about a game for 3rd and 4th place. It is a single elimination tourny so maybe they decided not to play for 3rd place. ..

This group from Ironton and johnson central have had some very good ball games the last couple of years. I think they split the regular season as 7th graders and split again as 8th graders. They have not played thus far this year, but I’m guessing this will be another great battle. Their games have always been very physical and I hope the referees let the young men decide this one instead of taking the teams out of their games by calling questionable fouls.

Congrats to the young Fighting Tigers. I just hope everything stays sane today so I can go and watch these guys play.

The Tigers came up a couple points short last night. Keep your heads up Tigers, you guys gave it a great run. Great game by 2 very good teams. I’ve enjoyed watching these guys play all year. Thanx to Coach Hoppy for all the time he put in as well.
On a more personal note I’d like to tell Cows and Chickins good job buddy- YOU PLAYED YOUR A#S OFF and I’M VERY PROUD OF YOU!!!

I’m sorry about your loss to Johnson Central - but, you know, sometimes, playing in a close, hard-fought, game teaches you more than the easy wins. Maybe it’s a reminder that you can never let down, rest on your laurels, consider yourselves invincible, or think you have nothing more to learn.
Oh my, that sounds like I’m criticizing you and your team - but that’s certainly not the case at all. You are a great team, and you had an absolutely great season.
