Thoughts on this one? Anyone have a roster for Paint Valley?
Check out SVCSPortszone.com
It has the rosters of all the svc teams
Will do. Thanks.
About 14 minutes till tipoff of the JV game.
After 1 Peebles JV 6 - Paint Valley JV 5. Physical game to this point.
At the half Peebles JV 12 - Paint Valley JV 24. Not sure the refs have taken their whistles out of their pockets yet. That goes for both sides.
After 3. Peebles JV 22 - Paint Valley JV 38. We are finally showing some fight.
Final Peebles JV 41 - Paint Valley 55. To many missed shots to win this one. They fought back from 20 down to pull within 8 halfway through the fourth but just didn’t have enough time. Almost had a fight at the end between the coaching staffs. I hope the varsity game isn’t a rugby match like this one.
After one Peebles 23 - Paint Valley 14.
Hermann is playing well for PV.
Peebles up 35-27 at halftime. Jake Daniels has 15pts 14rebs.
Peebles 53-33 after 3. Jake is about to break the rebounding record. He has 19 in 3 qrts.
Peebles won by 38pts. Jake was our leading scorer with 17pts and a school record tieing 21 rebounds. Trent played a heck of a game also. He was well over 10pts. I lost track off all specific stats at halftime.
What is the record and who owns it
Nevermind my last comment. Official stats had him at 22 boards 4 assists 3 blocks 17pts.
21 was before tonight. Kelly Copeland had it I believe. Jake also tied the school record for blocks with 8 earlier in the season.
I think the score was 76-38. Don’t quote me on that. I just know it was a 38pt margin. Anyone know exactly?
When did they start keeping track of rebounds for a record? I don’t ever remember any other schools in the county having rebound records???
We have records for almost everything, especially major stats like rebounds. Heck, the dunk record at Peebles is 3
. 500 rebounds might not make it to a banner like 1000pts does in some gyms but the The OHSAA keeps track of all major statistical categories, including rebounds in a game/season/career, so all schools have a record as far as the state is concerned. It is just a matter of schools/individuals caring enough to make note of it.
