Stocks decline as oil rises, Street examines earnings

Oil shows its ugly face.
The one common factor in all of these problems we are having is oil.

I just can’t help but wonder what the saturation point is where someone or some group says enough is enough :?: It just seems that we like oil and the towell heads and oil companies know we will pay the price.

Do you think that our oil rich elected officials really care enough to do something about this problem?

Just asking the questions the thoughts on this will come from you. :-D

If I remember correctly the last truckers halt put a lot of things on hold let’s say. We had some issues getting deliverys at work but the independents kept us going. I guess it got some attention but I don’t remember if it really solved anything. Right now the trucking companies are just passing the buck to the consumer like everyone else is. As far as the elected officials go I think there are very few that really care very deeply about the voters who actually put them in office. Now the rich people that put them into elected office with their campaign contributions is another story. The rich control and manipulate the world and it’s economy to do what they want it to. I think the bottom line is that when the consumer quits consuming so much something has to give. The rich in this country as with any other country are nothing without their blue collar, middle class, backbone to keep them standing :!: ;-)

I missed your post about the market on Friday. Could you repost it?
